It gives us immense pleasure to note that Kanjirowa, the former Kathmandu Don Bosco School, has been strongly re-established in its own, new premises at Balkumari, Koteshwar. The last few years of transition were both challenging and exciting. They were challenging in the sense that it was a Herculean task to shift the infrastructure from New Baneshwar to where we are today, and to get the students and parents used to the new neighborhood. But at the same time, it has been also an exciting few years because it gave us a lot of new windows to implement new ideas, activities, plans and programs that we had in mind but were not able to do so due to the limitations we had before. Having a physical infrastructure of its own, Kanjirowa has a new strength, confidence and a long-term vision, which we have already reflected in our programs since last couple of years.
Kanjirowa has well-trained teachers, who have a strong academic backgrounds in their respective fields. We have always believed in developing the personality of the students in a holistic manner. Our focus is to train the students to be global citizens to cope with the world they live in today, whose features are fast-changing. We not only empower them with necessary knowledge and training, we also put our efforts in making them confident citizens who have certain goals in life, and who have internalized a value system to contribute to the society. We groom them to truly learn to be skilled, confident, knowledgeable, disciplined and more importantly good human beings.
We would also take this opportunity to thank our parents and well-wishers for their unfaltering trust in us in our efforts to expand ourselves and re-invent our more ambitious plan of the last few years. We welcome our new students for their delightful academic journey at Kanjirowa!
